This extremely pretty antique pendant features a 9ct gold heart heart, framed by 36 seed pearls and three plump, purple amethysts. The central amethysts dangle freely from a central frame,  creating some soft movement in this piece.

The romantic symbolism of this pendant is clear; The heart, represents love between the giver and wearer, and crowning the heart, crafted from delicate seed pearls, is what looks like a beautiful bow, which in Victorian times, represented a loving bond, such as marriage.

This is a very special antique pendant.  It is marked for 9ct Gold on its back, and it weighs a healthy 3.20g.  It measures 4.5cm long (including bale) x 2.5cm wide
